i keep thinking i'm all done decorating and then i putz some more. a little sprig of evergreen here, some manufactured snow there, a gorgeous red ribbon on a hurricane, it's the little touches that make

me feel so content. one night soon the hubs and i will make our annual trek around the city to

ohh and ahh over the lights. (i'll be doing the ohhing, boyfriend will be lost in the little drummer boy playing on the car stereo.) it's one of my favorite traditions. thank you to

everyone who risked life and limb hanging over slippery roof edges and almost freezing their fingers off to string those lights. i appreciate you!
