i'm in a fog

it's 8 a.m. here in my little nook. but look...this is what it looks like out my window this morning. it's mistily magical.  it's 15 days till Christmas and if we can't have snow, i will settle for a little heavy fog. i live in minnesota for pete's sake. we should be blanketed in snow by now- we should be wrapped in white. if there's no snow for Christmas i swear i will be loading up my sleigh, shoving my elves in behind me, hooking up our big brown dog as a stand in for rudolph and heading to colorado.
in the meantime, while i wait for the real stuff, i look out the window and admire the lights on the tree across the street. pretty aren't they?
